in which we both sell and manage property, is the world-renowned
county of Monterey, on California’s Central Coast. The areas of
the county in which we principally and most efficiently work are
Monterey, Carmel Valley, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove,
Del Rey Oaks, Seaside, Sand City, Marina, Salinas and the nearby
unnamed sections of Monterey County. Of course, we are licensed
to operate in all of the state of California, and can—and
have—effectively represent buyers seeking property anywhere in
In Sales, we
represent both buyers and sellers of real property. The broker
and salespeople know Monterey County well, and follow the
market. For buyers, we make a special effort to find the best
financing, and then the best possible property for your specific
desires. For sellers, we market each property with special care.
After all, we are not a large company, and each listing is very
important to us. We believe we have a very good marketing plan,
and, indeed, it has worked very well over the years; most of our
listings result in a successful sale of the property. In our
view of ourselves, we are skilled negotiators, more than
salespeople, and the staff conducts itself accordingly. For a
more complete discussion of how we conduct the business of
sales, please contact the broker, Don Gruber at 831-238-2787.
As to Property Management, Big Green Zucchini Real
Estate currently manages more than a hundred and fifty
tenants. We offer a full range of services to the owner at a
reasonable rate, aggressively market vacant property, and
quickly take care of problems that arise. We make a special
effort to find quality, long-term, reliable tenants. Once again,
we have had good success in this effort, with few vacancies,
usually, and few evictions. For a more complete discussion of
this topic, please visit our website’s page on Property
We maintain membership in the Monterey County Association

business of real estate is always changing, at least in

it. Mr. Gruber, as a result, is knowledgeable in sales

takes very seriously the job of agent, in which he, the
agent, is “one who is authorized to act for or in the
place of another.” That means, in his opinion, that the
interests of the client come above his own personal
interests, and he always acts according to that code.
Doing so sometimes means turning down potentially
profitable work, if it is not especially good for the
client. It also means providing diligent attention to
detail, careful examination of properties, comprehensive
knowledge of local market conditions, high level
communication and negotiation skills and a knowing
scrutiny of contract language. It is best to contact him
